My Pinterest Wants For a Fraction of the Price
If you’ve been following me on Pinterest, you’ll notice my WANTS board. I tend to throw a lot of purse lusts and Valentino onto the board. Most of those lusts come directly from Saks.com.
While I was at The Bay in Ottawa, I caught a cheaper version of the same bag I was wanting from 3.1 Phillip Lim. It was only $98…and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t buy it. I really loved that bag. But rest assured…I not only found a similar version of my wants at The Bay, but I also found more on their website!
Since The Bay is a lot like Macy’s, I’m going to share my finds with you from the Wants board on Pinterest to the less expensive version.
1. Nancy Gonzalez Glazed Python Tote (price unknown, but in the 4 figures).
Spotted on Gossip Girl…a Nancy Gonzalez python tote that I can’t seem to find anywhere on the internet!
Well, Canadian Store, The Bay, has something similar from Nine West. They only have it in Henna, but it still has that ombre look. It’s on sale for $43.19 CAD.
2. Reed Krakoff Boxer Tote Bag, $990.
Now, I love this design with the buckles going across. I’ve been wanting this bag ever since I saw it. Then lo and behold…The Bay has another bag similar to this beauty from Nine West for $125. You can also find a few similar ones at DSW for $49.95.
3. 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Printed Croc-Print Leather Satchel, $975.
Of all the bags…this one is the one I covet the most. While walking through The Bay, I saw a similar version for $98 and almost freaked. I regret not having bought it there, because they don’t have it on their website. Luckily, it’s sold at Macy’s. It’s from Olivia & Joy. You can also get it in another version for the same price.

So now the question is…which ones am I going to buy? Well, I’m going to pay a visit to Macy’s when I return from Houston to see if I can pick up a few of these (or similar) with a coupon. The Bay is very similar to Macy’s, so I hope the main store will have them all!
