A Wrinkle in Time

In anticipation for the upcoming movie starring Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon, I thought I’d pick this book up to get an idea of what I should anticipate this spring.  Meg, her brother Charles Wallace and new friend Calvin, embark on a journey across dimensions to find Meg’s father.  He’s been missing for three years.  With the help of Mrs Who, Mrs Whatsit and Mrs Which, they journey across the universe to a dark planet that is overcome by evil.  Everyone is under some spell.  They must fight whatever is controlling everyone to save Mr. Murry.  One will fall victim to its spell.  One must learn to fight through their anger in order to save the one they love.  This is the first book in a series.
